Privacy Policy

Dyatt Technology Consulting, operating as Sam Dyatt Systems ("we," "us," or "our"), provides technology consulting services in Leander, Austin, and the surrounding area. This policy explains what information we collect through samdyatt.com and our booking and payment tools, and how we use it.

Information we collect

We collect information in a few ways:

• Information you give us directly. When you book a call or audit through Cal.com, or email us, we receive your name, email address, and anything else you choose to share (phone number, business details, the content of your message).
• Payment information. Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not receive or store your full card number — Stripe handles that directly under its own security standards and privacy policy.
• Usage information. We use Google Analytics (GA4) to understand how visitors use this site — pages viewed, general location (city/region level), device type, and which links or buttons are clicked. This is collected automatically via cookies and similar technology.

How we use this information

• To schedule, confirm, and prepare for calls and engagements
• To process payment for booked services
• To respond to questions sent by email
• To understand which parts of the site are useful, so we can improve it
• To meet our own legal, accounting, and tax obligations

We do not sell your information, and we do not use it for advertising or share it with marketing partners.

Who we share it with

We share information only with the service providers that make the site and booking process work:

• Cal.com — scheduling and calendar management
• Stripe — payment processing
• Google Analytics — site usage analytics

Each of these providers processes data under their own privacy policy and security practices. We may also disclose information if required to by law, or to protect our legal rights.

Cookies

Google Analytics sets cookies to distinguish visitors and sessions. You can opt out of Google Analytics tracking using the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on, or block cookies generally through your browser settings. Blocking cookies won't affect your ability to book a call or contact us.

Data retention

We keep client and booking information for as long as reasonably necessary to deliver services, meet tax and accounting recordkeeping requirements, and resolve any disputes — typically no longer than seven years after an engagement ends, unless a longer period is required by law.

Your choices

You can ask us to tell you what information we hold about you, correct it, or delete it, by emailing sam@samdyatt.com. We'll respond within a reasonable time. Some information (like payment records) may need to be retained regardless, to meet legal obligations.

Security

We take reasonable steps to protect the information we hold, and rely on established providers (Cal.com, Stripe, Google) for the systems that touch scheduling, payment, and analytics data. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we can't guarantee absolute security.

Children's privacy

This site and our services are directed at businesses and business owners, not children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. If we make a material change, we'll update the effective date at the top of this page.
